Nursing Staff

Suky
Suky has been a veterinary assistant since 2000, joining 9 Lives in 2004. She has completed her ARIC Australian Veterinary Nursing Certificate II and is currently studying for a Feline Advisory Bureau Foundation Award in Feline Friendly Nursing. She has two cats at home – Sor B and Chow B - both of which have been adopted through 9 Lives' work with cat welfare societies.
KAMAN
Kaman started work in the veterinary industry as an animal groomer and has been a veterinary nurse at 9 Lives since 2005. She plays an integral part in looking after our two clinic cats. She gained her ARIC Australian Nursing Certificate Level II in 2010 and is currently studying for her Certificate IV.
XAVIER
Xavier joined the 9 Lives team in 2009, having worked in other veterinary clinics since 2007. She has four cats at home – Shadow & Silver (Domestic shorthairs) and Tails & Tinkerbell – (British Shorthairs) – all adopted from the SPCA. She also has fostered many young kittens until they were old enough for adoption.
Xavier has completed her Australian Nursing Certificate Level II in 2010 and is in the process of completing Level IV.
CYAN
Cyan has been a veterinary assistant since 2002 and joined us in 2009. She is devoted to her pets – Richie – a lovely spoiled Cavalier King Charles Spaniel that is also a qualified Dr Dog, and two cats – Dumpling and Golden – domestic shorthairs that were adopted from the street. Cyan has completed her ARIC Australian Veterinary Nursing Course Level II, and is currently studying Level IV.
RUBY
Ruby has been involved in the veterinary industry from a young age, and joined 9 Lives in 2010. She has 4 cats at home – Siu B, Moji, Dor Dor (domestic shorthairs) and Blackjack, a British Shorthair.
CINDY
Cindy is one of our newest team members, joining us in 2010. She enjoys looking after the hospitalized patients, ensuring their optimal comfort and well-being during their stay. She has three cats at home – Scottish Folds called Bean Bean Chung and BB, and a domestic shorthair called Gum Goo. She spends much of her spare time looking after her young active son at home.
IVY
Ivy is our new receptionist, joining our team in December 2010. This is her first job in the animal care industry. Ivy has a beautiful standard poodle called Bebe. Her favourite breed of cat is the British Shorthair.
